Best pasta we've had in 2025! We are Americans staying at the beautiful Shangri-La Golden Sands resort across the street. The pasta at this amazing street stand is even better than the very good food at the Golden Sands! We had takeout two nights in a row. The salted egg pasta with double duck is exceptional and perfectly spicy. The welcoming cook and his wifewash their hands every 2 or 3 minutes.

A street pasta who deserve a restaurant! I heard about this Saf Street Pasta being viral few years ago. I havent had the opportunity to try. This time I just make an effort to try. Yes! It is very nice. Since they are local people and most of their customer like their pasta spicy/hot, the taste is not actually Italiano. BUT if you ask them to drop the asian generality flavor, they will do it the Italiano style. Day 1. I packed my food and enjoy it at the hotel. Day 2 at dinner, I had it at the stall to see/taste the differences. Of course lagi SEDAP! Recommended!

I had the pleasure of ordering the Salted Egg Yolk Smoked Duck, Bolognese Chicken with Meatballs, and Garlic Bread from this humble little eatery — and what an experience it was. From the very beginning, I could see that the chef was a true professional. Every step of the cooking process was done with precision and care — from the exact measurements and perfect timing, to the impeccably clean utensils. You don’t often witness such dedication in a small kitchen, but I was lucky enough to see it with my own eyes. Just before my meal was ready, I approached the counter to pay and was politely informed that they only accept cash or Alipay. The owner was so genuinely apologetic, even though it was clearly no fault of their own. It’s a small business, and yet they were more concerned about my inconvenience than anything else — a level of kindness that deeply moved me. At the time, I didn’t have any Malaysian Ringgit on me. I offered to go back to my hotel to grab some USD and exchange it nearby. To my surprise, they insisted I take the food with me first, without asking for any personal information, payment guarantee, or even my name. Who does that these days? Who trusts like that? The food itself? It speaks for itself — with flavor, quality, and unbeatable value. Just look at the reviews. But what makes this place even more special is the integrity and warmth behind the counter. Having a restaurant like this in such a beautiful location is something truly worth celebrating. It’s not just a meal — it’s a story I’ll never forget. Thank you for reminding me that the world is still full of good people — and good food. Lastly, I’d like to share a sincere note to anyone who may visit after reading this review. This is a small, humble place run with genuine care and integrity. The situation I experienced — not having local cash — was purely accidental and exceptional. The owner’s kindness and trust should never be taken for granted. I truly hope that this generosity will not be misused, and that this restaurant continues to be a place that is respected and cherished for a long time to come.

For street food, I think this is delicious, with a cheap price. It's located right in the food court across from the Shangri-La Hotel where I was stay.

We ordered chicken Bolognese spaghetti and aglio olio with meatballs. The price is affordable, taste good, good portion size and the chef is humble and friendly. We enjoyed our dinner.
